Two Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints met with the new president of Liberia in the capital of Monrovia on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Elder David A. Bednar and Elder Patrick Kearon of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles traveled to the West African country for a special meeting with Liberia President Joseph Boakai, who took office a month ago.
The high-level government meeting took place during their ministry to four African countries, including Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and Cote d’Ivoire.
